About Lisa Loiacono
Beginning her real estate career in 2003 with the well-known and highly-respected Santa Barbara brokerage house Pitts & Bachmann, Lisa immediately established herself as one of the region’s leading realtors. Three years later, the firm was acquired by Sotheby’s International Realty and Lisa skyrocketed to her consistent position in the top 1% of Sotheby’s agents nationwide. Along the way, she enjoyed a mutually beneficial partnership with one of the area's most successful and respected veteran agents.
Lisa serves a select level of clientele, and specializes in the marketing and acquisition of extraordinary land and estates in the most prized Santa Barbara area enclaves, including Montecito, Hope Ranch and Sand Point. While her represented properties have appeared in prestigious periodicals such as Architectural Digest, Town & Country and many others, Lisa herself has been featured in regional, national and international publications such as Santa Barbara Magazine, Angelino and Luxury Properties.
Calling on both intuitive and educated insight in considering a buyer’s needs and desires, and keeping a keen eye on the market, Lisa facilitates what she refers to as the "chemistry" between a discerning buyer and a distinctive property. "On paper, a property could seem perfect for a client," she says, "But it’s my job to really get a feel for a person, their lifestyle and needs, and open other possibilities that might not otherwise have been considered."
That vision and creative approach have earned Lisa a solid track record for both sales and happy clients. Many of those clients are high-profile entertainment and international business professionals requiring the discretion and confidentiality upon which Lisa has built her well-deserved stellar reputation.
A Santa Barbara resident for nearly two decades, Lisa attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, majoring in Italian. Her extensive domestic and international travels have been influential in the development of her keen eye and appreciation for architecture, design, culture and sense of place.
In addition to her impressive real estate career, Lisa is active in community affairs and charitable organizations, including the highly respected Girls, Inc. She sits on its Board of Directors, has been involved with its select "100 Committee" for the past several years, and, for two years in a row, held the distinction of being the youngest woman ever to serve as Chair of its prestigious annual luncheon.
"People see me as a strong, smart and bold woman," Lisa says, "And that’s the motto of Girls, Inc. Maybe that’s why I’m so passionate about the organization. After all, it takes just one positive influence on a girl’s life to let her know that she can be an amazing woman."
Lisa is a devoted and active mom, spending quality and leisure time with her son, Jacob. She shares his passion for basketball and is an avid supporter of his talent as a player. Energetic and athletic, she also enjoys daily walks with her dogs, as well as yoga, skiing, and hiking Santa Barbara’s beautiful trails.
