Lisa Loiacono

Within thirty days after joining Sotheby's International Realty, Lisa Loiacono was ranked one of the top three agents in her prestigious Montecito office, and she consistently remains a leading producer in her industry. In 2005, after just over two years in the business, her sales exceeded $80 million — an achievement unsurpassed in the history of Santa Barbara real estate.

Energy, ethics and integrity, combined with superb people and negotiating skills, assure Lisa of unrivaled, continuing success. Her personal knowledge base of affluent potential buyers, out of the area as well as locally, and her reputation for discretion, especially when dealing with high-profile clients, are also key factors contributing to her accomplishments.

In 2003, as her sales were accruing rapidly and her reputation as a highly respected member of the Santa Barbara realtor elite was forming, Lisa began collaboration with Robert Lamborn -- perhaps the region's most successful veteran realtor. The Loiacono-Lamborn team represents the highest level of clientele, and specializes in the marketing and acquisition of extraordinary land and estates. Their properties are regularly featured in eminent publications, including Architectural Digest, Town & Country, Santa Barbara Magazine, Distinction Magazine and many others.

Lisa attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, majoring in Italian, and traveled extensively throughout Europe to cultivate her architectural acuity. Prior to beginning her career in real estate, she was a founder of a successful computer services company where she excelled as its public and business relations ambassador.

In addition to Lisa's dazzling professional real estate career, the 17-year Santa Barbara resident is active in community affairs and charitable organizations, including the highly respected Girls, Inc. Recently elected to the non-profit's Board of Directors, she has been involved with Girls, Inc.'s select "100 Committee" for the past six years, and, for two years in a row, held the distinction of being the youngest woman ever to serve as Committee Chair of its prestigious annual luncheon.

"People see me as a strong, smart and bold woman," says Lisa, "And that's the motto of Girls, Inc. Maybe that's why I'm so passionate about the organization. After all, it takes just one positive influence on a girl's life to let her know that she can be an amazing woman."

As a patron of the arts as well, Lisa also devotes her time and contributes financially to the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, the UC Santa Barbara "Arts and Lectures" program and Santa Barbara Summerdance. "I feel you must contribute to this incredible community I love and that gives us so much," she insists, "I can't imagine living here not giving back."

Aside from her career, Lisa is a devoted and active mom, spending quality and leisure time with her son, Jacob. She shares his passion for basketball and is an avid supporter of his talent as a player. Energetic and athletic, she also enjoys daily walks with her dogs, as well as yoga, skiing and hiking Santa Barbara's beautiful trails.

Bob Lamborn

In 1979, on his first day as a realtor, Bob Lamborn listed a house for $750,000. His course was charted, and it has allowed him to remain one of the premier agents in Santa Barbara and Montecito, with his total sales reaching hundreds of millions of dollars. Over the years, Bob has been the agent of choice in the purchase and sale of Montecito’s most valuable properties — many of them several times.

Growing-up in Santa Barbara, Bob attended local schools, earned his B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, studied architecture and law — each for a year — and secured a Masters degree in Accounting from California State University at Sacramento.

Along the road from his Bachelor’s degree to his most successful decade as a realtor, Bob spent several years as a real estate loan executive in the banking industry. Loaning literally billions of dollars during his tenure as a senior loan officer, he developed valuable expertise funding everything from home loans, to joint ventures, to businesses and shopping centers.

While Bob is known for his impressive and highly-regarded intelligence, as well as his broad background in banking and law, his real estate colleagues and clients alike often refer to the importance of what they refer to as his “old soul” wisdom and understanding as keys to his success. “Although a house is just a house,” he says, “I appreciate that it’s most likely the center of my client’s universe and something that can and should improve the quality of all facets of their life.”

He combines that sensitivity with his fascination and aptitude for packaging transactions and making them work. “I love to put deals together,” he says with a smile, “If faced with the 24 hours to live dilemma, I’d say ‘I’ve got to go back to the office because I’ve got some huge deals that people are really relying on me to take care of.’ It’s helping people in a very concrete way.”

Bob is a shining example of the immensely important fact that a real estate professional can be extremely successful while remaining fastidiously ethical. “I think a definition of success should be all-encompassing,” he states, “Not just that he or she has been the number one salesman for ten years in a row. The important question is, ‘How did he or she get there?’”

Bob’s winning partnership with dynamic agent Lisa Loiacono has resulted in the pair listing and selling many of Montecito’s most prestigious properties. Combining Bob’s nearly three decades of real estate and finance experience with Lisa’s client relations and marketing skills, the unbeatable pair transcends the usual limits of the traditional realtor team.

Bob’s domestic team also takes priority in his life, however. He and his wife of over forty years, Carla, met and married as 19-year-old sophomores at UC Santa Barbara. Their daughter, Ciera, is a member of the Los Angeles Opera chorus and an aspiring mezzo soprano with a Doctorate in Music from UCLA.

An avid surfer since 1957, Bob still rides the waves regularly. He also loves to ski and is an ambassador for Santa Barbara’s world-famous outdoor lifestyle.
